Faruque Ahmed reiterated in his first press conference that Chandika Hathurusinghe may step down as Bangladesh's mind coach. Prior to taking up the position as BCB, he had previously expressed the same opinion earlier this year.
" I am still to find out about Chandika Hathurusinghe's deal. I have to see some products actually but I have never moved from my past stance", Faruque said on Wednesday. " I have to talk to my partner over the next two or three days, and see if we may find someone better than him. We have to create a brief, and see who wants to join us".
Faruque had resigned as the main selection in 2016 after then-BCB chairman Nazmul Hassan put a two-tier choice section, apparently at Hathurusinghe's demand.
