Ten weeks after Spain won the Euro 2024 title, the Paris Olympics sports competition will begin next year.

Lamine Yamal, the interesting Barcelona winger who turned 17 the day before the last, was the team's breakthrough sun. He conjured up his third support of the competitors in the 2-1 get over England after he became the youngest goalscorer in the game's record in the semi-finals.

Why is Lamine Yamal not at the Olympics?

Yamal was not one of the 18 titles chosen by coach Santi Denia for this season's Olympic Games, according to Spain's last-minute roster announcement.

Teams are not required to release players because the event is not a FIFA-recognised opposition, but Yamal explained that Barcelona made the decision and that the teen eventually chose not to play because of the amount of playing time he has had this period.

" I have a lot of minutes, but the Olympics are one of the biggest issues you may sing." I want to have a very lengthy job and I would be very upset with myself if anything happened to me this year while doubling", he told Onda Cero.

" I believe I have time to play them," she said. Barça told me that it was my choice, but I thought the best thing was to relax and come up better for the next time".

Yamal did n't play for Barcelona for 50 games this year and then played in all seven of Spain's matches at Euro 2024, so taking a break is entirely logical. This will hurt Spain's chances of winning the gold medal. Yamal may even lose Barcelona's tour of the United States this summer.

On July 24, Spain will face the Dominican Republic and Egypt in Group C at the Parc des Princes in Paris before hosting their opening competition of the year against Uzbekistan.
