UEFA has announced the official Best XI for Euro 2024, with champions Spain dominating the selection with six players, while runners-up England have only one player included.
Spain's title-winning squad boasts two wingers, Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal, left-back Marc Cucurella, and a midfield trio of Rodri, Dani Olmo, and Fabián Ruiz. Among them, Rodri was named the Player of the Tournament, and Yamal was awarded the Best Young Player of the tournament. England's only representative in the Best XI is right-back Kyle Walker.
Joining them are France's semi-final heroes, goalkeeper Mike Maignan and defender William Saliba. Swiss center-back Manuel Akanji also made the cut, while young forward Jamal Musiala is the only player from host nation Germany to be included.
The Best XI was selected by UEFA's technical observer panel, composed of 12 former players and coaches, including renowned names like Rafa Benitez, Frank de Boer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and David Moyes.
