Nigar Sultana wants Bangladesh to conquer Scotland in their beginning match of the children's T20 World Cup on October 3 and set the tone for the rest of the game. Beating Scotland would be a "huge achievement", she said, since Bangladesh have n't won a match in their last four World Cup appearances, and have won just one game in five editions.

Sultana, however, clarified that Bangladesh were no taking Scotland quietly. " We want to get the second match", she said. " It will be a great accomplishment for the team. When that occurs, the team may enter a stream. We can therefore desire of something bigger. We are starving for it.

" Scotland, though, are playing fine cricket. Usually team arrive at the World Cup with a lot of anticipation. They wo n't let you win easily. They do n't give up without a fight. We are psychologically prepared to face those issues.

" We have won four World Cups," despite the fact that I've played four of them. The next day we won was in the 2014 tournament]against Sri Lanka]. In previous years, we have played well, but winning simply means good things.

Sultana and Bangladesh are dreaming great. They want to issue England, West Indies and South Africa, the others in their class in the first round, and are hoping to get into the semi-finals.

" To play in the semi-final, we have to win against those three groups, too", Sultana said. We have various strategies for each team," he said. If we can do our gameplan, then it will fine for us. We have defeated South Africa in T20Is]twice in 13 completed matches]. We seldom meet England, just in World Cups, so it might be hard for them, too. We all know that we have a nice flip attack".

The ICC moved the game to the UAE after social unrest in Bangladesh at the start of the year.

We had a lengthy preparation process with the knowledge that the World Cup would take place here, Sultana said. " It is not in our power, so there's no place thinking about it again. In 2021, we took some great wickets in Abu Dhabi. Although we are moving here, we will have two exercise fits in Sharjah to give us some ideas.

" Different teams will encounter similar challenges, so the faster we can react to those challenges, it will help us perform better in the game's primary matches."

Batting a problem for Bangladesh

Bangladesh have n't done well with the bat in their last two home series, against India and Australia, and also lost to India and Sri Lanka in the women's Asia Cup earlier this year.

Giving Sultana trust, though, are outsiders like Shathi Rani and the unlimited Taj Nehar, who was picked ahead of the more knowledgeable Rumana Ahmed.

" Batting is definitely a problem but we saw some changes among the pitchers during the' A' team tour]of Sri Lanka]," she said". We also think that we can succeed because the majority of our people have excelled domestically. I'm hoping they keep winning at the World Cup.

" We included Taj for the middle-order, although she does n't have experience. We saw her in the league] Women's National Cricket League] where she showed great strategy and goal. She may play the big pictures. If you have followed our new global games, we failed in showing purpose. Shathi was the highest run-getter in the group. She can go after the ball, and you can see those in some of her pitches. She can use the powerplay very well. At this point, she has demonstrated her abilities.

Nahida Akter, a left-arm spin, and Rabeya Khan, a 19-year-old legspinner, make up Bangladesh's powerful spin attack. Sultana paid a glowing gift to younger Rabeya, who is the player's highest wicket-taker in T20Is this year]14 innings in 12 games]. " Rabeya is one of our finest bowlers. Through her efforts in both forms, she has elevated our team. She is a great catcher. She is good with the bat too but does n't take batting seriously. She is maturing quietly. If there's one I rely with the game in challenging situations after Nahida, it is absolutely Rabeya".
