After joining the Hobart Hurricanes before the WBBL document, Lilielle Lee may play for at least another two months with the team.

Lee, who has lived in Tasmania entirely since retiring from foreign cricket in 2022-23, was Hurricanes ' leading run-scorer last year with 409 at 37.18 and a strike-rate of 146.07 which included an unbroken 101 against Melbourne Renegades.

" I feel like the team made some strong improvement last year, and I am looking forward to playing my position and biological activity as we look to take Tasmania and the Hurricanes their initial WBBL trophy", Lee said.

Cricket Tasmania's public administrator Salliann Beams was excited about the prospect of Lee and Elyse Villani resuming their combination at the top of the purchase.

" With her and Junior at the top of our purchase, I think we have arguably the most experienced and skilled beginning combination in the WBBL", she said. She gave us a lot of flexibility with our pre-signing abroad, and it made sense for us to choose a player with the top draft experience who we know will play a key role for us.

" She you change the game with the pitcher and in the area, having done so time and time again in global cricket for South Africa and in the WBBL."

Hurricanes ' head coach Jude Coleman has previously indicated they will seem to bring in another major four flour during the document. They also have loyalty freedom for South Africa fast bowler Shabnim Ismail who took 13 innings last year.
