For the two-Test line, South Africa replaces Migael Pretorius, who is unlimited.
Gerald Coetzee, a fast bowler, has been suspended from South Africa's upcoming Test series against West Indies due to a side strain he picked up during the USA's Major League Cricket ( MLC ) T20 franchise league. Migael Pretorius, unlimited at Test amount but with the knowledge of 64 first-class activities to his funds, comes in as Coetzee's alternative.
Coetzee, playing for Texas Super Kings, returned home to have analyses on his wounded left part by South Africa's health team. Cricket South Africa confirmed on Thursday that the Test set, which begins on August 7, was not fit for him.
Pretorius was last named in a South Africa squad in March 2021, for a T20I series against Pakistan, but he did n't get a cap. He even got a nationwide call-up in December 2020 for a Examine collection in Sri Lanka, but finally injured his shoulder and could not comeback.
In 64 first-class sports, Pretorius, 29, has 188 innings at 27.50. He is now the leading wicket-taker for Somerset in this month's English County Championship, with 23 innings, albeit at an average of 39.43.
South Africa kick off the Test series in Port-of-Spain, before moving to Providence for the next Exam. Three T20Is follow, from August 24 to 28.
