With the above-mentioned information, retiring India head coach Rahul Dravid delivered what some people believe to be impossible: Gautam Gambhir made laugh. The fresh head coach, who will begin the T20I series against Sri Lanka on Saturday, received a heartfelt message from Dravid. In a video posted by the BCCI on social media, Gambhir was made to sit in front of a laptop to play the message which he did n't know came from Dravid.
" As your team-mate, I saw you giving it your all on the niche", Dravid said to Gambhir. " As your batting partner and brother catcher, I saw your tenacity and rejection to surrender. Across numerous Tournament times, I noted your desire to win, your support to younger people and your drive to collect the best out of your team on the industry.
I am confident that you will take all of these traits to your new position and how passionately and dedicated you are to Indian cricket are.
" As you know, the objectives will be higher and the attention will be powerful. But even in the worst of times you will never get only. You will have the backing of the gamers, your aid workers, the previous leaders, the administration, and always forget who you play-- for the fans who are very demanding but will always be teammates.
Shortly after winning the T20 World Cup final last month in Barbados, Dravid had mentioned the role of "luck" that had helped his team hoist the prize and he hoped the same would help Gambhir too.
" I also wish you a little bit of success, as you know that all of us educators need to make us look that little bit wiser and smarter than we really are", he said.
Dravid's clean humour even gave an appearance to evoke a laugh from Gambhir. " Even if it's hard for you, crack a smile. Whatever more happens, that may impact people", he said.
" I do n't get too emotional, but I think this message really made me feel very emotional," she said. But it's a wonderful information".
Gambhir's response to Dravid's information
" From one American cricket coach to another, one last thing. In the most warmed of times, breath, take a step back. I wish you the very best, Gautam. You're certain to inspire the Indian team to reach yet greater levels.
Reacting to Dravid's communication which made him "emotional", Gambhir said there was a lot to know from his father not just for him but for the whole creation.
" I do n't know how to react because this message means so much to me", Gambhir said. The reason is certainly because I succeeded, but rather because I have often admired when I was playing.
The most noble cricket player I have always played with, as I have always felt and as I have frequently said in discussions. Rahul Bhai has provided all Indian cricket needed.
" I believe there is a lot to learn from, not just for myself, but also for the future technology and the latest technology. That's how significant American cricket is, no me, not inpiduals.
I do n't usually get overly emotional, but I think this message did make me feel a lot more emotionally than I should. But it's a wonderful concept.
