With a goal of providing activity period before the Super Eight, there is likely to be some player movement against Scotland.
Australia, according to Pat Cummins, would never have thought about altering their shield operate rate to force England to withdraw from the T20 World Cup in 2024, and it would be against the spirit of cricket to do so.

But, with no gains in points or gross run rate that can be transferred from the group stage to the Super Eight, Australia is likely to sleep some players in the series against Scotland. There is a possibility that all three of Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, and Ashton Agar will be able to get a chance to advance to the next round.
Mitchell Starc is on record to be accessible having sat out the Namibia match after suffering some ankle pain against England. Cameron was previously rested from his opening game against Oman, with Nathan Ellis both making appearances.
" I have n't spoken to the selectors or anyone, so I do n't know what they're thinking", Cummins said of the option to rotate players. " But I would n't be surprised. I know going into the start of the tournament, in a great universe, we'd find a match into just about all the crew people".
Cummins, who is back in the Super Eight with Mitchell Marsh as the tournament's captain, said he did not anticipate resting once the competition had begun despite the possibility of five activities in ten days and possible vacation if the last is won.
" It's a little of a luxury now that the first section of the tournament is over, but once we get to the Super Eights, I do n't think there will be any resting."
