Bangladesh wants to win more Wickets before the Champions Trophy, and the collection will take place in the UAE.
In the UAE in November, Afghanistan may sponsor Bangladesh for three international matches. According to the ICC's Potential Tours Programme (FTP), the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) did not specify which locations do host the games, but it was confirmed that these Wickets are in place of the all-format trip that was scheduled to take place earlier this year between the two teams.
The BCB had declined to visit the UAE or India in late June this year, to enjoy Afghanistan, due to the summertime heat. The journey was forced to be postponed because of that, which has now been changed to include only the three ODIs on November 6, 9, and 11.
Both board have agreed to continue with the ODI foot, which will be important for both teams ' preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy, which is scheduled for February in Pakistan.
Faruque Ahmed, the president of the BCB, had previously stated last week that he had met with ACB officials in Malaysia on the occasion of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC ) meeting. After the Afghanistan OD Is, Bangladesh will go to the Caribbean to play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is from mid-November.
Afghanistan have played eight Wickets this season, including a 2-1 girl ODI line win against South Africa earlier this month. Afghanistan may travel to Zimbabwe to perform all three formats following the Bangladesh set in November.
