Wicketkeeper-batter leaves Warwickshire in pursuit of prospects across platforms
Kent have signed wicketkeeper-batter Chris Benjamin from Warwickshire on a three-year deal.
Benjamin, 25, made stories when drafted as a replacement player during the 2021 Hundred, having only played one top T20 for Birmingham Bears. He scored 24 off 15 balloons to observe Birmingham Phoenix over the collection and went on to have constantly over the game's first three months.
Benjamin even scored a decade on first-class album for Warwickshire but had limited possibilities in the longer style, making 10 looks for the state and scoring 22.23.
His appearance may develop Kent's options in the wicketkeeping office, with Ollie Robinson and Jordan Cox having left over the last two months, and Sam Billings signing a white-ball deal. The team's manager in Championship cricket this summertime has been Harry Finch.

Although Benjamin was born in South Africa, he is a European card recipient through his father and has played in the UK since moving to research in 2018.

In the County Championship earlier this month, Kent was relegated, and as a result, they fell to Division One. They even finished last in the South Group of the Vitality Blast and eighth in Group A of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
