In an 18-member club for the three-match Examine series against England later this month, Sri Lanka has named right-arm batsman Milan Rathnayake and fast-bowling all-rounder Nisala Tharaka.

Dhananjaya de Silva may lead the area with Kusal Mendis as his assistant. Sri Lanka have gone with a pace-heavy crew which includes Asitha Fernando, Vishwa Fernando, Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara, Tharaka and Ratnayake as the strong batsmen. Angelo Mathews, who has had odd success with his hole ball in England, is also in the club.
Vandersay, Ramesh Mendis and Prabath Jayasuriya are the primary roll choices. Over the past 18 times, Jayasuriya and Ramesh have been Sri Lanka's main Check bowlers.
