Wall has worked 30 times and over 1, 500 game in his NBA attending job.
The National Basketball Referees Association announced on Wednesday that former NBA referee Scott Wall had been given an acute myeloid leukemia earlier this year.
The 58-year-old Wall spent 30 days in the hospital after undergoing chemo therapy, but the NBRA said the cancer cells in his system have been eliminated. Wall may then move into the next portion of his care plan.
NBA officials may use bells with Wall's No. 31 on them for the rest of this time "in cooperation with our sibling".
Starting tomorrow, in cooperation with our brother and present NBA standard, Scott Wall, each NBA Referee will be using a# 31 bell for the remainder of the season.
