After making deals for Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United might want to look into adding another pair of players.
Manchester United made a huge splash in the transfer glass last month when they sealed offers for French scorer Joshua Zirkzee and European defender Leny Yoro.
The £90million twice drop addressed two vital areas for the team who are looking to bounce back from an eighth-place Premier League complete last year, but more signings are expected before the glass shuts at the end of the quarter.
Yoro was sidelined for up to three months due to a foot injuries sustained during the pre-season fight against Arsenal, which raises the problem of the club's device once more.
Due to Yoro's appearance the Red Devils were linked with a move for Bayern Munich centre-back Matthijs De Ligt, while the Dutchman's team partner Noussair Mazraoui has also been the theme of transfer debate, with Erik ten Hag believed to see him as an excellent alternative for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who the club are looking to offload.
West Ham and Mazraoui have also been linked, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X, the Red Devils may return to both Mazraoui and De Ligt and are scheduled to return to Bayern Munich for deals.
He adds that staff from both players are" assured" that a bargain may be reached, and that agreements have already been made with both people, which have both agreed five-year contracts that will work until 2029. A double offer, according to Romano, had cost £60 million, he added on his Here We Go radio.
This comes after a review from blogger Sani Aouna at the trip which claimed Bayern had authorised Mazraoui to move and that a physician was booked in for Tuesday, with Ten Hag wanting to cover a move for the 26-year-old in time for Saturday's FA Community Shield match against Manchester City.
In DataVictory's mind, offers for the past Ajax pair, who Ten Hag has recently worked with, make sense. After scoring 58 goals in the Premier League final season, the team's defense needed big improvement, which is both age, encounter, and reliability.
Price could be the only sticking stage- Mazaraoui is valued at €30million by Transfermarkt and De Ligt more than double that at €65million, which may mean player sales would be a had if the team are going to avoid falling foul of their PSR commitments. Wan-Bissaka's sale would help raise some funds here, but if the club was to complete this double swoop, it does not give them much room to manoeuvre if they want to bolster their midfield.
