June wasting at Arsenal might be on the rise.
Arsenal's second significant filing of the summer is causing anticipation among their fans.
The team has yet to sign any new faces as they attempt to piece together the pieces that could make the 2024/25 title-winning puzzle, despite the signing of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya's everlasting deal.
One player greatly linked with a move to the Dubai so far this summer has been Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori, with the team believed to have already agreed private words with the 22-year-old.
The hanging place so far has been to acknowledge a charge with Bologna over the transfer, with the team valuing him at around £42million. As a result of the slipping in time, European blogger Gianluca Di Marzio insists a deal may be reached as Arsenal prepare to leave for America for their summer journey on Sunday.
" At this moment, Arsenal's goal is to get an arrangement with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori", Di Marzio told purpose. p. " He's their top target and they are pushing a lot. The player has two-three days to add Arsenal and has made the decision. He did n't listen to offers from Chelsea, PSG, Bayer Leverkusen because he's really focused on Arsenal and Arsenal is focused on him".
" As of right now, there is n't a deal with Bologna because Calafiori's price has drastically changed. Before Euro 2024 he had a value of €30-35 million. After his shows for Italy, Bologna are asking for €50 million and Arsenal feel that's very little. Arsenal are willing to invest €1-2 million more but no €10 million more.
The rate of the offer is currently inactive, but there is a desire to reach a deal within a few days. Another problem is when Bologna bought the player last year they agreed on a 50 percent sell-on clause with Basel and so now they are trying to get more money because they do n't want to sell Calafiori for only €20 million because €10 million of that they'll have to give to Basel.
" They're trying to get more possible money but at this moment, they ca n't afford to keep the player so the move is only a matter of time".
