Suryakumar Yadav was forced to miss the opening game of the 2024-25 Duleep Trophy because of a finger injury he sustained next year's pre-season match against Mumbai at the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament in Coimbatore. Suryakumar has been given a rest and is currently undergoing a routine examination at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy (NCA ).
