" It will be a demanding set but we have the additional confidence from the Pakistan line"
Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto says his part is assured going into the first Check against India in Chennai, after their 2-0 get against Pakistan earlier this month. The two-match Test set against India starts on Thursday, followed by three T20Is.
" It will be a difficult set but we have the more trust from the Pakistan line", Shanto said in the pre-departure press event in Dhaka. " I guess the entire country has that confidence today. Every line is an option. We want to get both Checks, but we have to adhere to our process. If we do our work, we can get a great effect.
" They are also ahead of us in the ranks. But we did play well late. We want to play well for five weeks, that's our purpose. In the final period of the Test match, we want to receive the outcome. At that time, the match can go in any manner. It is an opportunity]to get our first win in India]. We may aim for a victory. But we do n't want to think too far ahead. We want to do well for five weeks, and sing to our strength. That's most essential."
