The 50-over and four-day Australian Under-19 squad may be led by Mohammed Amaan and Soham Patwardhan.
Allrounder Samit Dravid has been selected in India's Under-19 club for the first time, for the multi-format household series against Australia Under-19 in September and October.
Mohamed Amaan, a middle-order flour from Uttar Pradesh, has been named captain of the 50-over club, while Madhya Pradesh's Soham Patwardhan may lead the team for the four-day games.
Dravid, the child of past India captain and coach Rahul Dravid, just played his second older men's T20 tournament- the Maharaja T20 Trophy- in Karnataka, where he is part of the Mysuru Warriors squad.
In seven innings of middle-order batting, Dravid allowed 82 runs in a strike price of 114, but he was not asked to dish his moderate pace. On the day the young candidates announced India's Under-19 club, Mysuru Warriors were due to play the semi-final of the game.
Earlier this year, Dravid, 18, played a major part in Karnataka winning the Cooch Behar Trophy, a four-day file event for under-19 bowlers. He scored 362 plays and took 16 innings in eight games, including two crowns in the last against Mumbai.
India Under-19 may sing three 50-over matches against Australia Under-19 in Puducherry on September 21, 23 and 26, followed by two four-day matches in Chennai starting on September 30 and October 7.
