He did re-unite with Dravid, no longer after they lifted the T20 World Cup this time
Vikram Rathour, the past India batting coach, will once again team up with Rahul Dravid as he joins the assist team at Rajasthan Royals in a similar power. This past fortnight, Dravid was appointed as the head coach of the RR.
Rathour's relationship comes after his five-year connection with the Indian team, where he collaborated with Dravid and Ravi Shastri. In June, Rathour's deal ended shortly after India's defeat at the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean.
" Having worked closely with Vikram for many years, I can safely state that his technical skills, calm demeanor, and profound knowledge of American circumstances make him a perfect match for the Royals", Dravid said in a statement.
" Collectively, we've built a solid friendship, guiding India to major successes, and I'm thrilled to return with him. His ability to nurture young talent and promote players ' possibility will be important as we aim to further improve our crew and continue building a world-class team below at Rajasthan Royals".
This will be Rathour's next Tournament stay, having earlier been part of the training set up at Punjab Kings. He has also been the director of cricket at Himachal Pradesh recently.
Earlier this month, Rathour was part of New Zealand's training set-up as batting expert in Greater Noida, as part of their planning for six Testing they were to perform in Asia.

Back in the day, Rathour was a famous scoring for Punjab, scoring a majority of his 11, 473 first-class works for them. Between 1996 and 1997, he played six Tests and seven OD Is. His international career was very brief.
