One of the ten West American athletes that Paarl Royals have retained for the SA20 new season in 2025 is captain David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, and Andile Phehlukwayo. Kwena Maphaka and Lhuan-dre Pretorius, quarterback additions from the 2024 version, have also been retained by the Royals ahead of the bid.

The current 11 people in the club, including seam-bowling all-star Dayyaan Galiem, who has been traded in from Joburg Super Kings and Tabraiz Shamsi, have all been let move.

The last crew, including international signings and released gamers, will become confirmed after the auction. Royals made the Finals in the last SA20 model but suffered five straight costs including a nine-wicket thumping in the Eliminator against Super Kings. On January 9, the new year will begin.

In a press release, Royals ' Director of Cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, stated," We are delighted to enter the upcoming auction with a very formidable core of capped and uncapped South African players." It was crucial to re-evaluate the club and make some changes in the wake of the disappointment of last year's slump in the tournament's final stages.
