Rachin Ravindra, Ben Sears, Will O'Rourke and Jacob Duffy have been offered their initial New Zealand key agreements while left-arm spin Ajaz Patel returns to the listing.

Fast bowling Adam Milne has joined Kane Williamson and Lockie Ferguson in declining a deal and Blair Tickner has dropped out of the 20 people.

Ravindra was a breakthrough star of the 2023 ODI World Cup where he made 578 goes finally scored his lady Test centuries against South Africa in Mount Maunganui which he converted into 240. In March, he won the Sir Richard Hadlee Medal as the youngest player of the year for New Zealand.

" Growing up you'd see those agreement lists come out each year and believe it would be nice to be on that list one time- and for it to eventuate today is a pinch-myself time", Ravindra said. " It's been a really nice past 12 weeks playing global cricket. I've learned a lot and the hunger is certainly that to keep improving and giving to the Blackcaps".

Sears and O'Rourke, both Pace bowlers, impressed in their Examine appearances last year. Sears took 4 for 90 against Australia in Christchurch while O'Rourke took 9 innings for South Africa in Hamilton. While O'Rourke made his debut in both white-ball types, Sears was a standard T20I player as well.

Burke, 29, is not a typical in New Zealand's groups and has yet to make his Examine comeback. Since making his 2020 album, he has played in six Wickets and 14 T20Is. Last year he took 31 innings at 24.41 in the Plunket Shield.

" It's especially exciting for Ben, Jacob, Rachin and Will to receive their first contract presents, and well deserved following their hard work and appearances", New Zealand selection Sam Wells said. The future of the team is in these younger players, and it's been encouraging to view their development abroad.

Patel's returning to the contract list is a reflection of New Zealand's extensive testing plan, which includes tests against India, Sri Lanka, India, and Afghanistan. They therefore play a three-match home series against England in December.

Henry Nicholls, a top-order flour, is still on his contract despite leaving next season's Check against the opposition. Kyle Jamieson is currently undergoing therapy from another up wound which was diagnosed in February and could keep him out for a time.

It was announced last month that Williamson had hardly take up a key commitment as he will be heading to the SA20 in January but he is available for New Zealand either part of that and is expected to remain a standard in the Test area.

Both New Zealand and the Super Smash T20 rivals are eligible for one of the terms of the contract offer.

" We're producing international-ready Blackcaps and we're pleased with the latest depth", Wells said. " The strength of the record is probably best measured by the quality of some of the people who were n't offered deals".

New Zealand did have a new white-ball captain following Williamson's lease choice.

The retired Neil Wagner is the other player on the agreement record from the previous year.
