New Zealand men's ball coach named by Ram

The original allrounder had worked with the team over the last 12 weeks

In addition to Shane Jurgensen, Jacob Oram has been appointed the bowlers coach for New Zealand Men.

Prior to the T20I set against Australia, the T20 World Cup earlier this year, he had formerly served as the side's ball coach.

Oram expressed his excitement at having the chance to play for the Blackcaps once more. It's a true honor to be up with a team that has been a significant part of my life and has meant a lot to me.

" The new opportunities I've had have been a fantastic insight into where this team is going and I'm excited to continue that operate in the coming months.

" The Blackcaps bowling rates are undergoing a brand-new influx of talent, and I'm hoping to share my knowledge and expertise with them to help them get ready for the challenges of international cricket.

Ben Sears and Will O'Rourke, two interesting pace duos, may play as New Zealand's attack, according to Oram.

He began his coaching career with New Zealand A in 2014, and he has since been a ball coach for New Zealand Women. With the team reaching the Super Smash last last summer, he was appointed Central Hinds ' head coach. Ram has also served as MI Cape Town's ball coach in the SA20 and as an intern coach in the Abu Dhabi T10.

" Jake's a tremendous technician", said head coach Gary Stead said. " His job as a player and his experience as a coach speak for themselves. He brings a strong understanding of the global game, but also practice in franchise cricket which will be useful in understanding the current player and the changing landscape of the current game".

Oram will commence his position on October 7, immediately before the start of New Zealand's three-Test set in India.
