To begin the NCL with ten successive victories, Bangladesh Metropolis defeated Rajshahi Division by ten innings. Ashiqur next recorded 129 runs with ten legs and five sixes. He added 204 for the next innings with Joyraz Sheik, who made 87. Rain forced a draw between Khulna Division and Barishal Division in Khulna. Batting second, Khulna saw Anamul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Amit Majumder and Mahedi Hasan score seventies, as they declared at 408 for 9.
