To begin the NCL with ten successive victories, Bangladesh Metropolis defeated Rajshahi Division by ten innings. Left-arm spin Rakibul Hasan took career-best images of 8 for 56 in the next pitches, and combined with fresh left-arm fast Maruf Mridha, who had bagged 6 for 22 in the first, to drop Rajshahi.
