The Bangladesh international is alleged to be suffering from pain in his spinning neck and hand while playing in the Chennai Test.
Shakib Al Hasan's performance in the upcoming Chennai Test against India has been questioned due to his lack of innings and ideas that he is struggling with several injuries. Shakib, who on Saturday became Bangladesh's oldest Check bowler, bowled seven innings on the next morning after captain Najmul Hossain Shanto brought him into the attack hastily. Shakib was unusually weak, with Rishabh Pant hitting him for six legs and two innings.
Shakib came out with the most expensive match images of his Examine job. It was also just the second time that Shakib had gone wicketless in a Exam after bowling at least 20 overs. Murali Kartik, the original left-arm bowler from India, claimed on air that Shakib informed him about pain on his spinning hand and shoulder after forcing him to stay off the attack for the majority of the day session on Saturday.
" Having seen him and known him for quite a long period of time, I did go up to him and inquire the reason why he has no bowled enough", Kartik said. " And the thing which he said to me is anything I fully resonate with. His ball hand, which is the place of his left side, has undergone hand surgery. It is swollen, it is firm, there's no motion no softness to it. He therefore believes that he is not benefiting from it at all. As a spin you need the experience. Additionally, he has back issues, which makes it difficult to play test cricket where you need that same feel.
Shakib injured his left index finger in a recent World Cup match against Sri Lanka. He even missed the match against India during the same event due to a head injury. The hand injury kept him out of action for a few weeks, and then Shakib also had an eyesight problem that prolonged his absence from the Bangladesh team.
Tamim Iqbal after said on atmosphere that if Bangladesh have deliberately picked Shakib despite the pain in his spinning hand, then the customers are playing with a bowling short.
" Murali Kartik said that Shakib is having difficulties gripping the ball subject this thumb injury. If that's the case, Bangladesh are playing with four front batsmen. The team administration may tell whether they knew about this harm or not", Tamim said.
BCB's general practitioner Dr Debashish, yet, said that they are not aware of any pain for Shakib due to the hand or back injuries.
" Shakib had a fracture in his hand from the World Cup in India", he said. He had an illness from another thumb injury a few years back. However, Shiib has n't recently complained about an injury to her shoulder or finger. A cracked finger but can cause discomfort".
There's some worry that Shakib may include overextended himself in recent months. He bowled 63.2 % of his innings for Surrey last week in a state match in Taunton. He had left for the UK from Bangladesh's visit of Pakistan, played the game, and finally reached Chennai one day before the first Test.
Soon after Litton Das departed in the first innings, Shakib was forced to take an unfortunate slow sweep despite not taking a wicket in the Test. Shiib is also attempting to change the way he plays baseball, biting down on a rope around his neck to prevent his head from sagging when he plays the ball.
