Jeremiah Louis, the fastest bowler in the final Test between West Indies and England, will miss the injury-related Cricket West Indies ( CWI ) announced in a statement. The customers have opted for a like-for-like alternative, bringing Akeem Jordan into the club.

Louis picked up the wound during Trent Bridge's next Exam, which he did not play in. He may continue to receive treatment with the club. Jordan, who was playing cricket in the UK at the time of his call-up, has now joined the club and may take part in Wednesday's education program at Edgbaston.

Jordan is yet to make his Test album but has featured in 19 first-class activities, taking 67 innings since 2022 at an average of 24.10. His pitches total was 5 for 44, which included two five-wicket busts.

Aside from Jordan, West Indies now have Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Jayden Seales and allrounder Jason Holder as their seam-bowling choices in the club. The guests are 2-0 down in the line, having conceded the Richards-Botham Trophy with one match still to come, after losing at Lord's by an pitches and 114 works and then at Trent Bridge by 241 runs last year. The second Test gets underway on Friday, July 26.
