If Australia manipulates the outcome to force England out, Marsh may be banned.

Josh Hazlewood made the suggestion that his team would prefer to view Scotland through at the cost of the defending champions.

Josh Hazlewood has said Australia may try and change any margin of victory over Scotland to try and push England out of the T20 World Cup 2024 though his commander Mitchell Marsh may face a ban if found guilty of doing so by meet leaders.

However, Marsh could face up to two of their three Super Eight games being banned if Australia made the decision. In violation of Article 2.11 of the ICC's code of conduct, which prohibits" the exploitation of games for improper corporate or military reasons," such as when a team purposefully loses a pool match in an ICC Event in order to change the standings of various teams there, he may face charges.

The captain had been held accountable and accused of a Level Two offence if the code of conduct clarifies that it could also use to "inappropriate manipulation of a shield run rate." Namibia's captain Gerhard Erasmus, who was diplomatic in the midst of the Australia- England conflict, may make any calculations completely meaningless if they can pull off an upset in their final game against England.
