Coach Muzumdar reveals that the decision was made before they arrived in the UAE.
The "mystery" surrounding India's No. 3 has been unopened. The solution to the riddle that Amol Muzumdar, the head coach, had been tight-lipped about is now set to become Harmanpreet Kaur.
" Absolutely. Before India's game opener against New Zealand on Friday, Muzumdar said," We already had decided back in India, in the tents that happened before we started the World Cup. Not just the warm-up game." " We had a wonderful camp in Bangalore. We had decided that itself. These pre-World Cup matches made that a clear statement for us.
" Is it a shock? No. If you can imagine, you can go through the tallies and you will discover it."
It's a place that has seen a number of inhabitants late. And it's one that was borne out of need, mainly because of Yastika Bhatia, who seemed the pioneer until April, got injured during the Bangladesh journey.
Yastika is a member of the UAE crew after recovering from a knee injury. But it appears today that she has to wait for her options. At No., Harmanpreet batted. 3 in both of India's warm-ups, with values of 10 and 1. But that, it seems, was illusory in the big scheme of things.

Shreyanka Patil is one of the people whose reputation has improved as a result of the WPL. The allrounder was the highest wicket-taker during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's move to the subject earlier this year, including a brilliant 4 for 12 in the last.

The outcome of all this, aside from major knowledge, is elevated pitching levels, something Muzumdar underlined as top concern when he took over last December.
" We've worked upon it," Muzumdar said". Attempted to work flawlessly inpidually, second in terms of the level as far as pitching is concerned. And then in health we've paid attention to each inpidual to get their health levels to the next level.
" But, I think we've put in that endeavor. The work has been there. I think you'll surely see the benefits".
