In India B, Siraj is replaced by Gaurav Yadav, while Malik is replaced by Malik in India C.
Due to illness, Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik are not competing in the first round of the Duleep Trophy. In the India B club, Navdeep Saini replaces Siraj, and Gaurav Yadav replaces Malik in the India C club.
Ravindra Jadeja, however, has also been released from the India B crew, though no explanation has been provided for the upgrade. He has not been given a name successor, either.
Gaurav, a 32-year-old fast bowler formerly from Madhya Pradesh, switched to Puducherry before the last private time. He made headlines when he picked up 41 wickets in the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy, following on the entire roster, in just 11 ball wickets at an average of 14.58, with five five-wicket hauls and a ten-wicket match drag to surprise Delhi in the beginning round. Before that, also, he was a constant wicket-taker with the red game, with a score of 24 in 2022-23, 23 in 2021-22, and 23 in 2019-20. Nevertheless, he has played 37 first-class games for 141 innings since making his debut in the style in November 2012.
The injury-prone Saini, who played two Testing on India's journey of Australia in 2020-21, has been given a chance to come up on the candidates ' sensor ahead of the Test time. In any of the four innings he bowled in, he failed to take more than one innings in either of the two India A four-day games last year, one against the England Lions at home and one against South Africa in December.
Nitish Kumar Reddy's cooperation will continue to be subject to exercise, a BCCI speech said, as he continues to return after a sports hernia operation.
The first round of the Duleep Trophy may be played simultaneously in Anantapur and Bengaluru from September 5.
Originally a radial opposition featuring teams from five ( and after six ) zones, the structure of the Duleep Trophy has changed often in the past few months, and will be a four-team contest this time. The Checks will start on September 19 and the second round will start with Bangladesh starting with the Assessments.
