" Dig strong. Do n't give up. Test cricket is strong".

Kraigg Brathwaite is not wide with the pitcher. Ditto with thoughts. However, despite being defeated in two weeks and an afternoon at Lord's, the West Indies captain sent a clear message to his players never to reduce heart in those cheesy words.

Brathwaite admitted West Indies had arrived at Lord's with the aim of winning the second Evaluation of the three-match line. His strong bowlers Kemar Roach ( before he was injured ) and Shamar Joseph wanted to destroy James Anderson's goodnight. West Indies ended up being the only supporting put at the Anderson dinner, which was attended by whole houses, including on Friday, for which the ECB refunded followers because there were fewer than 15 innings of play.

" For me to the boys]the message ] is generally: things will not always go as planned", Brathwaite said after the defeat by an innings and 114 runs. " Also, we came to win the Test and it did n't happen. However, this collection has only two Tests left, and there are still six Tests left this time. So it's all a build-up. We ca n't believe that because of this]England ] win, we are out of it or anything. We got to delve deep, we got to keep believing and stay stressing on it. It's easy to offer up. It's easy to say,' well, I ca n't get it done', but we got to keep believing and keep supporting one another".

West Indies failed to bird 50 wickets in both pitches- 41.4 in the first, 47 in the next. No dough got to 50, with the unbroken 31 from tailender Gudakesh Motie, who threw his pitcher round on time three, being their highest score. West Indies ' batters were easily defeated and made simple problems with the smallest push from England's batsmen, especially freshman Gus Atkinson, which was disappointing.

Jayden Seales, a fast bowler who took four innings on moment two, had criticized the West Indies ' 121-run dismissal on the opening day. Brathwaite, who made 6 and 4 at Lord's, concurred.

" Batting first, you want to put runs on the table in the first pitches specifically. We know where we went bad. We know where we can become better. My issue for the team is stay mentally strong. It's Examine cricket. You go through effective periods, you go through hard times, but you just got to become strong and feel in your skill. You got to believe that something's around the corner. Simply keep doing the right stuff. And everything will function out".

When asked what advantages was West Indies derailing, Brathwaite said ball England out was a great first step. " We got ten innings. We did bowl them out albeit]for ] 50-60 runs too many. We had three batsmen who batted for almost an hour, if not an afternoon, and they all got 20 or more. We caught fairly as well".

West Indies do know how to win Checks and yet set. They have n't lost a Test series against England at home in two decades and are current holders of the Richards-Botham Trophy. Brathwaite stated that he and his president Jason Holder may keep the viewers inspired throughout the series by reminding them of those events.

" We all have had some thoughts, we've all had glances of doing wonderful things on this stage… That's what I call knowledge. Experience is important in that area, and Jason Holder has done it ( too ) often. As I said, we only got to delve deep on. Stay psychologically hard".
