The Paarl Royals have traded Dayyaan Galiem from Joburg Super Kings for Tabraiz Shamsi, who Marcos Stoinis has rejoined Durban's Super Giants.
In 2025, Jonny Bairstow may play for the Joburg Super Kings. His second SA20 participation will be this. Other people that the company has retained include Donovan Ferreira, Gerald Coetzee, and Faf du Plessis. Dayyaan Galiem and Tabraiz Shamsi from Paarl Royals have exchanged for each other.
Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theekshana, and David Wiese are just a few of JSK's international clients. Nandre Burger, Lizaad Williams and Imran Tahir may also transfer to the Super Kings after helping them achieve the Qualifier in the previous model.

Stoinis again with Durban's Super Giants

Paarl Royals retain Miller, Ngidi, Phehlukwayo
One of the ten West African people that Paarl Royals have retained for the SA20 new season in 2025 is captain David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, and Andile Phehlukwayo. Kwena Maphaka and Lhuan-dre Pretorius, quarterback deals from the 2024 version, have also been retained by the Royals ahead of the bid.
Dane Vilas, Evan Jones, Wihan Lubbe and Ferisco Adams have been let go to create space in the club that already has 11 people, including being seam-bowling allrounder Galiem.
In the previous SA20 book, Royals qualified for the Qualifiers, but they lost five to the last match, including a nine-wicket thumping in the Eliminator against Super Kings. On January 9, the new year will begin.

MI Cape Town hold on to Rabada, Brevis
There were not very many upsets in MI Cape Town's presentations. They held on to Kagiso Rabada and Dewald Brevis via pre-signings, and likewise retained Rassie van der Dussen, Ryan Rickelton, George Linde, Delano Potgieter, Thomas Kaber and Connor Esterhuizen.
