Three years after receiving a murder sentence in prison, the cricket skill commission has forwarded the original Worcestershire allrounder a 10-year suspension from playing in ECB contests.

Hepburn was accused of two ECB Directive 3. 3 vulnerabilities earlier this year by the Cricket Regulator. The first involved his involvement in a cruel Whatsapp group while he was playing with Worcestershire in 2017 and the second involved his release in October 2021 after serving two decades of a five-year word.

Hepburn, then 28, has never played expertly since the details of his arrest in April 2017 were made public. In the course of his four-day test, it was heard how Hepburn had "dehumanised" people, standing them in text messages to his team-mates in a" physical invasion contest".

After an initial mistake by the victim, who he had previously shared a smooth with, his next team-mate Joe Clarke, who she had first believed was having sex, he was later found guilty of dental rape. He appealed against the faith, but the charm was dismissed in September 2020.

Given Hepburn's time in prison, the Cricket Regulator was just able to serve him warning of the cost earlier this year, but his expulsion has been backdated to the time of his discharge, on October 30, 2021. The expulsion relating on the following command, for a period of two years, is deemed to have been previously served.

A speech from the Cricket Regulator added:" Mr Hepburn failed to respond to the command email and related conversation. As such, the CDC screen reached its determination in his presence. Mr Hepburn has never appealed the CDC committee's selection".

Hepburn will also have to conduct "appropriate expert cure" for the problems which led to his criminal faith, and conduct appropriate training and education programs before he will be permitted to play, coach or undertake any cricket-related action which falls under the jurisdiction of the ECB.

He has also been placed on the sexual offenders record for career as part of his judgment.
