Ajinkya Rahane to add Leicestershire for One- Time Cup, County Championship

Ajinkya Rahane, an Indian flour, has agreed to join Leicestershire for the remainder of the county season. He will be available for five County Championship games in addition to the team's one-day glass strategy.

Rahane, 36, had agreed to join Leicestershire next summer before winning a recall to India's Test team for the World Test Championship last. After that, he left for the West Indies for the first Exam before being expelled in 2023.

" We are thrilled to welcome someone of Ajinkya's superior to Leicestershire", Claude Henderson, Leicestershire's chairman of cricket, said. " It was unfortunate that Ajinkya's schedule did n't quite work with ours last year, but it's a massive boost to have secured his services for the business end of this season.

Along with his run-scoring prowess, he also has a lot of practice and crucial management skills that will be very helpful to the team. Ajinkya's appearance even presents a great option for our batters to know from one of the game's best."

Rahane has n't played since playing both of India's Test matches in the Caribbean in July. He has scored more than 13, 000 works in earliest- group cricket, at an average of 45.76, and another 6475 at 39.72 in List A.

His arrival in mid-July will make up for Wiaan Mulder's anticipated departure from international duty for South Africa and aid Leicestershire's celebration of the One-Day Cup, which they notably won in September.
