Soon after India won their second T20 World Cup title in Barbados, Virat Kohli announced that he had won the trophy to end his T20 foreign job with a World Cup prize.

As I previously stated, this was the situation that allowed me to put my nose down and honor the situation rather than try to force points into order and play the game my team wanted me to.
" Yes, I have. This was an open solution, it was not something that I was not going to reveal if we'd lost," Kohli said when asked to confirm he was retiring.
