Off spin claims that England's Urdu-speaking bowlers were deceived into raising the field during his 48-out.
Sajid Khan, a Pakistani bowler, has discovered a number of ways to understand England, starting with the moderate invasion of personal space, which includes twirling his moustache and thigh thumping. Much of it has involved bamboozling them with the position of his flip or the trip of his sales, but on Friday, he found another street for English befuddlement: their rewrite bowlers ' language.
After Saud Shakeel had flicked Shoaib Bashir away with the fourth ball of the 86th over, the pair met to discuss how to handle the strike, and they did n't seem to care if the stump mic came in to pick them up. Sajid, apparently, was to see off the last two balloons, but he danced down the batsman and launched Bashir over midwicket into the Javed Miandad have.
It could hardly have been the program, but according to Sajid, the intended market for the conversation was n't each other but Pakistani-origin spinner Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Bashir.
" We were simply doing that ]speaking violently in Urdu] to mislead the batsmen. Rehan and Shoaib understand Urdu, but to foolish them, we wanted them to learn we were just looking for the individual. When we did that, the batsmen flew the area. Saud told me once they do, no quarter steps: just go for the big picture as hard as you can".
And Sajid did. Sajid plundered two innings and a limit in much the same way the following over, swinging steadily towards the midwicket limit and finding the middle of the pitcher. 19 came off that over, and though Rehan kept him slower, he was stung again when he spread the industry out. Sajid took the gentlemen at long-off and long-on, easily clearing the wire. The tires, by then, had begun to travel off England's ball energy, and Pakistan's guide had ballooned.
Rehan acknowledged the quality of the pitches, but was having nothing of Sajid's says. " He did n't fool me at all, he just said it for the media", he laughed" I did n't even hear him. He said something like he's going to run down this ball and I knew he was going to try and scoop me, and it did n't really work. I think he batted well, and he hit some big blows, but he did n't really fool me or Bash".
