He will continue to work on his health at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore after he has n't recovered sufficiently.
Pakistan fast-bowling allrounder Aamer Jamal may lose the two-Test set against Bangladesh, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Monday.
Jamal was originally selected in the club with his membership subject to health clearance. He was most likely going to miss the first Check, starting on August 21 in Rawalpindi, as he had n't entirely recovered from his back injuries, but is now ruled out of the second Test starting August 30 as well.
Blake, who was Pakistan's highest wicket-taker in the absent set in Australia in 2023-24 with 18 innings in three Checks, has been dealing with lower back problems since May this time. The injury even affected and finally curtailed his multi-format stay with Warwickshire in England, and he next played dynamic cricket in June.
With only one named successor in the club, Jamal was the lone seam-bowling all-rounder until Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam both got released to perform for the Shaheens. Pakistan are even expected to label an all-seam strike for the first Check and the other bowlers in the club are Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mir Hamza, Khurram Shahzad and Mohammad Ali.
Jamal will continue to improve his health at Lahore's National Cricket Academy with an eye on improving before the October Test series against England.
