In a one-off check in September, Afghanistan will take on New Zealand. The match may be played in Greater Noida in India. For the first time in the longest style, the two teams will square off against one another.

This will be Afghanistan's 10th Test, and their second in 2024- the most they may have played in a calendar year.

The Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground, which was Afghanistan's adopted home earth, may also host their second test.

The test will probably take place on September 9 through 13. That's about one quarter before New Zealand's three-Test tour of India, with the first of those sports set to begin on October 16. The times have not yet been announced; New Zealand will also be playing a Test line in Sri Lanka.

England, Australia, Pakistan, and South Africa will be the only nations that have n't yet played against Afghanistan in a test match following the New Zealand Test. Due to humanitarian reasons, Australia had decided to boycott their 2021 check venue.

In their two Testing so far in 2024, Afghanistan have lost to Sri Lanka and Ireland. Their past success in the structure was in March 2021 when they defeated Zimbabwe in the UAE, despite having also lost their one-off Check last year in Bangladesh. In all, Afghanistan have a remarkable 3-6 win-loss history in their first nine Testing.
