The original England international recently spent four seasons with the Sydney Sixers.
Chris Jordan may return to the Hobart Hurricanes while Tom Curran, an all-star, has agreed to play for the Melbourne Stars for the entire length of the BBL.
Curran, who has previously played for the Sydney Sixers for four seasons, was in trouble in the 2023-24 battle when he was suspended four games for intimidating an umpire. His competition was then ended by a knee injury. In 36 BBL games he has taken 51 innings at 19.76 with an economy of 8.25 and scored 359 works at a hit- level of 143.60.
Curran will be able to sign a person from another country before the draft under the BBL's fresh multi-year lease option. Any person who signs up under the new contract must be for the entire game, including the 2025 to 2026 time, even though Curran will do so for both decades of his contract.
Jordan, who took a hat- key against USA to support secure England's spot in the T20 World Cup semi- finals, heads up to Hurricanes after claiming nine wickets in 10 matches during 2023- 24 season plus hitting a 17- ball fifty.

Sam Billings was the first player to sign a multi- year deal in the BBL when he joined Sydney Thunder.
Meanwhile, in an interview conducted by Stars, Curran said that Glenn Maxwell had played a key role in encouraging him to join the club when the pair spent time together for Royal Challenges Bengaluru in the IPL.
" I'm really looking to getting out to Australia in a few months and playing at the MCG which will be a great honour to call my home ground", he said. It'll be a pleasure not to bowl to Maxwell and Stoinis because you want to play overseas and have an impact and contribute to games.
" I was at the IPL with Maxi at the time and I knew Peter Moores was the coach- who I've never worked with but who I've heard great things about", he said. " Having played a lot of football with the Stars over the years, I had a good idea of which players were in the team." After the initial chat it did n't take too long for me to decide to be honest".
After Maxwell resigned following last year's campaign, which saw Stars finish sixth, the Stars will need a new captain for the following season. Marcus Stoinis has confirmed his interest in the role.
The first pick for the early-September draft will be the star players.
