For Nepal, win legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane is prepared and could be in range for his debut T20 World Cup match.
Major picture: Will roll play a role in Kingstown?
This is the first day South Africa and Nepal have met on the global stage during a game of successes. And they do so from factors on the team's stand at different times.
After Nepal and Sri Lanka's washout, South Africa probably made it it anyway despite the fact that it had advanced there. They appear to be one of the better teams in three of their fits so far, two of which have been won by nearby margins.
Nepal has only ever won one game, but they may feel like they have already had some success. They have yet to earn another. A 7000- solid crowd in Dallas, made up about completely of their followers, cheered Nepal through their entry sport against Netherlands. But their bowling wilted under stress from the Netherlands bowlers, which does not bode well for them coming up against South Africa, whose rapid cricketers have been excellent.
South Africa's primary issue coming into the game was the form of Anrich Nortje, but he is up to, and perhaps even better than, his past best. Nortje has reached frequencies of 150kph- plus, has shown off a great slower game, is taking innings, and is now two apart from Dale Stey n's history as South Africa's leading bowling in people's T20 World Cups. With all of their modifications, Otto and Mortje have created a fierce first and second change that is superior to Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada.
The bowlers ' ability to play a significant role will be unknown; remember that South Africa only has one specialist in their club, Keshav Maharaj, so their recent trip to the Caribbean may reveal that. With Sandeep Lamichhane joining the West Indian foot of the tournament, if things change in the direction of the spinners? Nepal are well-equipped for this situation.

In the spotlight- Sandeep Lamichhane and the South Africa leading get
Sandeep Lamichhane, Nepal's best- known person, has never played an international meet since November last year after being convicted of and therefore acquitted for murder. The latter's name was not on Nepal's original list, and he arrived ten days before the participating teams had to name their tournament's last squads. Cleverly, they merely included 14 people. However, Lamichhane was later denied entry to the United States and forced to miss Nepal's primary two game. He has since reached St Vincent.
All this for what, you may know? Also, Lamichhane is complement- winner, who was the third- leading wicket- taker in ODIs next year, and played a vital role in Nepal reaching the World Cup Qualifiers. He has described playing at a World Cup as" Quinton de Kock, who is good playing his final global event, Reeza Hendricks, who was overlooked in 2022 and properly feel the pressure to prove why that was the wrong decision, and Aiden Markram, who is captaining, will want to do better. Harris is particularly small of runs in comparison to De Kock and Markram, who both have started. With Ryan Rickelton in the club, he may realize he has some contest.

Nepal will have to keep someone out to make room for Lamichhane, if he is available for selection, and it could be remaining- arm spin Nagar Dhakal, who was economical but went wicketless against Netherlands.
Nepal: 1 Kushal Bhurtel, 2 Aasif Sheikh (wk ), 3 Anil Sah, 4 Rohit Paudel ( Capt ), 5 Kushal Malla, 6 Dipendra Singh Airee, 7 Sompal Kami, 8 Gulshan Jha, 9 Karan KC, 10 Sagar Dhakal/Sandeep Lamichhane, 11 Abinash Bohara
South Africa is not taking into account anything other than fielding what they believe is their best XI, unlike Australia, who may or may not open their couch against Scotland. Rob Walter, white-ball coach, made it abundantly clear that only the major three will be able to get some runs out of the major three's offensive changes.
South Africa: 1 Quinton de Kock (wk ), 2 Reeza Hendricks, 3 Aiden Markram ( capt ), 4 Tristan Stubbs, 5 Heinrich Klaasen, 6 David Miller, 7 Marco Jansen, 8 Keshav Maharaj, 9 Kagiso Rabada, 10 Ottneil Baartman, 11 Anrich Nortje
Ball and circumstances
Because there is n't much cricket in this area, this surface is similar to Eisenhower Park. The area is beneficial to run-scoring in the Bangladesh-Netherlands match, which may change things from what South Africa experienced in New York. The great outfielders will feel right at home because one side of the field has 58 meter limitations.
It's expected to be humid, sunshine and somewhat chilly during the match.
Statistics and trivia:
Not only is Lamichhane Nepal's leading wicket-taker in T20Is, he is also two wickets away from 100 in the format.
