After making it to the Western Conference finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves are continuing to operate under Chris Finch.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and brain manager Chris Finch have agreed to a four- time commitment improvement, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Finch has coached the Timberwolves for the past four decades. His best time to date came in this past year, when Minnesota finished with the second-best regular season record in franchise history, 56-26, behind stars Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Anthony Edwards. He was named the Western Conference player's manager in the 2024 NBA All- Star Game.
The Timberwolves gradually advanced to the West championships, where they lost to the Dallas Mavericks in five games.

The 2024 playoff was especially exciting for Finch. The Timberwolves instructor had a broken patellar muscle in his right leg after colliding with Mike Conley in Game 4 of their first-round NBA playoff victory over the Phoenix Suns, just before the Timberwolves made it to the West Finals for the next moment in team history.
Wren required surgery to fix the rip and, as a result, required his right knee to be immobilized in a buckle. Yet he was on the couch for Game 1 of Minnesota's following- round game with the Denver Nuggets. However, Finch could n't stand or walk up and down the sideline, delegating that task to assistant Micah Nori.

( Nori, by the way, reportedly interviewed for head coach openings with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons. )
In a seven-game line, the Timberwolves defeated the defending NBA champion Nugget. In that Game 7, Minnesota rallied from a 15- place half gap, the largest in NBA Game 7 story, and a 20- point margin in the next half to fight Denver.
Finch took the Timberwolves ' employment in unexpected fashion. The Toronto Birds ' team hired him midseason to remove Ryan Saunders, who had been let go. As Minnesota's mind instructor, he has compiled a 160–127 history. Those 160 win are the second most in franchise history, while his.557 winning portion is the best.
Due to his stay in Toronto, he spent 10 times as an NBA assistant manager with the Houston Rockets, Nuggets and New Orleans Eagles. Finch coached the Rio Valley Grande Vipers of the NBA G League before joining the team, where they won Coach of the Year awards.
