Since March, Joe Mazzulla has been coaching damage.
Joe Mazzulla became the youngest instructor since the later, excellent Bill Russell to get an NBA title on Monday evening when his Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 106- 88. But the 35- yr- old Mazzulla has one item that Russell did no: a torn bubble.
During the holidays following the get, Mazzulla spoke to" Sports Center" and was asked what his party plans are. He claimed he did n't because he needed surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

" Hey think what"? Mazzulla said. " I gotta had hip surgery. I tore my bubble in March after we lost to Atlanta... I'm gonna get out a little while, I've been working through it since March".
On March 25 and 28, the Celtics hosted the Atlanta Hawks. The Celtics lost both of their game in Atlanta. Mazzulla has been dealing with this for about three months. Before going into operation, he should have a chance to do some light celebrating.
Not just one coach who suffered an injury while watching the quarterfinals sported a corner. In Game 4 of the Wolves ' first-round victory over the Phoenix Sun, Minnesota Timberwolves mind coach Chris Finch broke his patellar tendon. After having operation, he had surgery to spend many games on the bench and collided with Mike Conley Jr., his own player, on the sidelines.
