Gregg Popovich, the head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, announced on Wednesday that he had a gentle stroke that had led to his latest, endless health absence from the team.

In the speech released by the team, the Heels said the injury occurred on Nov. 2 at their home area, the Frost Bank Center. Now 11 times after the injury, the team says Popovich has now started a treatment plan and "is expected to make a complete treatment". However, there is no timeline for his return, so we do n't know when he might be back this season, or if next season is a more realistic target.

Popovich's injury was initially announced as an unspecified health concern that popped up on Nov. 2, the day the Heels faced the Minnesota Timberwolves at house. Mitch Johnson, Popovich's associate, prowled the sidelines in place of the coach, who did not play the sport. It was announced on Nov. 4 Johnson would be the time coach while Popovich was over. In the six game Johnson has coached in Popovich's presence, the Spurs are 3-3.

Popovich, 75, is in his 29th time with the Heels, and is the longest-tenured mind coach in the group. He leads the NBA in win with 1, 391 job regular-season victories and another 170 playoff wins. He has even coached five Heels team to NBA titles.
