Scottie Barnes was fighting for a rise when Nickola Joki's neck struck her in the eye on Monday evening.
Scottie Barnes, a star player for the Toronto Raptors, will miss at least three weeks because of a correct orbital dislocation, the team announced on Wednesday.
After taking an elbow to the eye from Nikola Joki in the paint, Barnes was forced to miss the team's 127-125 time lost on Monday. When Joci's left hip swung backwards and accidentally struck Barnes in the eye while Joci was battling for a bounce with Raptors center Jakob Poeltl, Barnes was struck in the center of the lane.

Barnes remained in the game to end the play before the Raptors called a delay, leaving for the bag area. In that time period, the Nuggets later won by two points. Denver's second win of the time came as a result of a 15-point comeback.
Barnes finished with a team-high 21 points, 12 touchdowns and nine helps in the reduction, which dropped the Birds to 1-3 on the year.
Barnes has averaged 19.3 items, 7.8 touchdowns and six help this year. The original Rookie of the Year earned his second All-Star award with a career-high 19.9 items and 8.2 touchdowns last year. Barnes, 23, signed a five-year potential quarterback improvement this past winter, too.
If Barnes is out for only three days, he may return in time for the Birds ' contest with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 21. That may mean he would lose only 11 games.
The Raptors may get on the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday evening in North Carolina. Toronto went only 25-57 last year and missed the playoffs for a second straight season.
