The Detroit Pistons are working on a deal to make New Orleans Pelicans public director Trajan Langdon the group's new president of basketball operations.
About a fortnight after team user Tom Gores announced the team was looking for a top executive, the Detroit Pistons have hired a new president of basketball operations. Trajan Langdon, the New Orleans Pelicans ' public director for the past five months, is now negotiating a deal with Detroit, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Detroit is coming off the worst year in company record, finishing with a 14–68 history and an NBA report- tying 28- activity losing streak. If Langdon is elected chairman of basketball operations for the Pistons, it will be decided whether to retain Troy Weaver as general manager or Monty Williams as head coach.
