Porzingis was ultimately ruled out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference playoffs on May 27 despite hoping to return next year. Due to that match, Porzingis had been "accelerating his on- court slope up" in order to make his profit. It is unclear what caused the delay in Porzingis ' gain.
The 7- base- 2 forwards, who has averaged 20.1 points and 7.2 rebounds this year, has missed 10 complete games with the damage.
Porzingis will be a welcome addition as the Celtics face the Mavericks and continue their quest for Boston's earliest NBA title in 15 years despite his team's strong playoff performance without him.
