The Los Angeles Lakers have at least one claim to fame, and the entire plan for the 2024-2019 NBA season is over. They will once more command the regional television audience.
Between ESPN, TNT, ABC and NBA TV, the Lakers will have 39 of their 82 games ( 48 % ) aired nationwide, via ClutchPoints ' Brett Siegel. Golden State Warriors lead the pack with 36, followed by the royal hero Boston Celtics and New York Knicks with 34.
With 30 the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns follow. However, the Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers and Toronto Raptors are tied for next, with four activities each.

Since LeBron James first arrived in town for the 2019-2020 period, the Lakers have ranked first or second in the NBA in federal TV game. But, this is the first time they've topped the list since 2021-22, as the Soldiers had topped them in each of the past two years.
Obviously, this is n't a reflection of meritocracy. The Lakers have n't won a title since 2020 and are coming off a first-round humbling at the hands of the Denver Nuggets in last year's playoffs. Television networks do desire strong teams on their roster, but they also want large names. So why does it make sense to place the Warriors in second place after missing out on the playoffs in Stephen Curry's place?
The addition of James ' son Bronny and the appointment of his podcast partner JJ Redick as head coaches add to the Lakers ' already-intense roster for the upcoming season. Every time Bronny makes it on the court, LeBron and Bronny will become the first on-court father-son combo in NBA history, and you can bet that the TV sites want to broadcast that time.
The networks may be waiting for more of the same outcomes as last year unless Redick proves to be that much better than Darvin Ham because the team's actual core has n't changed much this offseason.
