Without Kevin Durant, the Phoenix Suns may have a fantastic start to the season.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the sun forward suffered a left leg pressure on Friday and will be out at least until he is evaluated again in two days. Durant sustained the wound in the Suns ' 114-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.

Due to the fact that Durant missed much of the Paris Olympics this year as a result of the same issue, Durant is mainly concerned about a calf injury, despite having a solid regular season and a wholesome preseason. He has been a vital part of the Suns ' 8-1 stop, with an NBA-best 35 brake positions and 42.9 % shooting from behind the 3-point range.

The Suns were largely showing the kind many expected when they added Bradley Beal to a squad that also included Durant and Devin Booker. The couple's first season up was a frustrating experience at times, with the Timberwolves knocking them out in the first round.

The team looked better this season with Mike Budenholzer as their new head coach after a full month. Nowadays, they have to see how well they can maintain it up over at least the next two weeks, a span of time that includes a fight with Minnesota on Nov. 17.
