Following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision, Rodriguez changed his petition to criminal.
Rajon Rondo, a former NBA point guard, admitted guilt on Tuesday on the charge of unlawful gun ownership.
Rondo entered his appeal at a court in Jackson County, Indiana, according to local reports. He wo n't be sentenced to prison.
In Jackson County, Rondo was pulled over for a transportation infraction in January. Per officers, Rondo was driving his Tesla more than 100 mph and weaving in and out of prospects on Interstate 65.
The arresting officer reported that the arresting officer had pot when the traffic stop occurred. In Indiana, outdoor pot is not permitted. The officer found pot, drug paraphernalia and a 9mm handgun during the hunt, according to authorities.
Rondo also faces pot and drug-related charges. The medicine charges were dropped as part of Rondo's plea deal. All three claims were offenses.
Rondo received a 180-day prison sentence, and occasion served for two weeks already there was reimbursed. The statement was suspended, per the plea deal. Instead, Rodriguez will be on 180-day supervision. He'll be required to keep work and avoid drug and alcohol apply during parole, WDRB reports.
After allegedly assaulting a woman with a firearm at her house in Kentucky, Rondo was ordered to keep a gun in his possession until 2022. In that event, Rodriguez was never charged with a crime.
When the woman asked her child to do the cleaning, Rondo claimed that she was playing a video match with the person's child. Before departing the property, Rodriguez therefore ripped the video game console from the ceiling and smashed a number of things, including an outside light and a cup.
The girl claimed that Rondo confronted her and demanded to see her son after returning with a weapon to the home. According to the protecting order, he finally left the property after the police arrived.
After reaching a consensus, both parties finally agreed to overturn the protective order.
Rondo immediately entered a not-guilty plea for the firearm charge, and his trial was postponed due to a Second Amendment lawsuit being filed with the US Supreme Court. The cannon charge's validity was challenged by his attorney.
In June, the Supreme Court upheld a national law barring people facing a domestic-violence restraining attempt from possessing a firearm. Rondo changed his appeal on the weapons charge to innocent, leading to Tuesday's decision.
After two months in school at Kentucky, Rondo returned to the NBA. He was named to an NBA All-Defensive team four days, including four All-Stars. He started the 2008 Boston Celtics team, which won the NBA finals, with three helps totaling the league record. He even played a vital role for the 2020 NBA champion Dodgers. Rondo next played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2022.
