Luka Doni, a sun Dallas Mavericks player, received a painkiller before Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, according to a report from ESPN on Tuesday.

However, the Celtics announced on Tuesday that Kristaps Porzingis has a" torn anterior retinaculum allowing deformation of the lateral tibialis tendon" in his left leg, which is day-to-day away of Game 3. Porzingis suffered a knee injuries in Game 2. The Celtics called the damage "rare" and said it is not related to a leg injury that had previously sidelined him for ten postseason games. "
