Nightrydas Elite became the first grass team ever to win subsequent Peach Jam finals at the 15U, 16U and 17U rates.
As the last under-17 activity of Nike's Peach Jam was set for a monster game between the top three high school basketball players and the two best team in the EYBL, North America was on the verge of chaos.
The No. was on one side of the game. 1 player in the coming older school, A. J. Dybantsa, and the No. 1 player in the incoming junior class, Tyran Stokes with Oakland Soldiers ( California ). On the other side was arguably one of the best grassroots teams ever with Nightrydas Elite ( Florida ), led by three of the top incoming seniors, Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer and Caleb Wilson.
Nightrydas Elite made record Sunday when they became the first grass team to win consecutive Peach Jam finals at the 15U, 16U and 17U amounts after defeating the Soldiers, 71-62. The Boozer sisters have also won three straight state finals in Florida, and Team USA has won two silver medals twice, most recently in Istanbul for the U17 FIBA World Cup.
It was the Cameron Boozer present in the final game as he did a bit of everything, finishing with 19 points (7-for-8 from the area ), 10 rebounds and five help.
" This team has been up a long time and our purpose, generally, is to win", Cameron Boozer said after the game. " I'm but proud of my friends. All chipped in and we played our behinds off. If you want to get, you have to get the whole team involved, it's not just about you. I know they were trying to play me firm and I knew people coming off windows were going to be open because of the spacing".

Both the Nightrydas Elite and Oakland Soldiers were 14-1 coming into Peach Jam. As both groups defeated tough opponents in swimming play and advanced to the finals, fans, college tutors, and NBA spies packed the gym all year. Go coaches from Duke, Miami, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn, Florida, UConn and Alabama lined the sideline for the semifinals and playoffs at the Riverview Park Activities Center. The future NBA talent, including former NBA All-Stars Carmelo Anthony and Carlos Boozer ( dad of Cameron and Cayden ), also spotted the San Antonio Spurs ' point guard.
Cameron Boozer and protect Wilson led the way for the Nightrydas in the first two rooms, giving them a pleasant 42-29 lead at the third. In the second quarter, Dybantsa attacked several matchups and demonstrated wealthy shot creation, sparking a fireplace for the Soldiers. Stokes finished with 22 points and nine touchdowns in the final match after posting a triple-double on Friday with a 25-point, 12-assis, and 10-rebound effort and has shown potential growth as a genuine point-forward prospect.
Dybansta demonstrated why he was the No. 1 idea in high school and the first popular. After posting 25 items and six touchdowns in the reduction, the NBA Draft pick is the first overall pick in 2026.
Dybantsa sooner in the week told Yahoo Sports," I want to be challenged and compete against the best talent." " That's why we're all around, to thrive on the biggest stage of the summer. I do n't really pay attention to who's here and watching. I'm just here to plug in and assist my team win, even though we all know college tutors and NBA spies are here.
NBA spies and directors were allowed to watch matches all week at the 15U, 16U and 17U ranges, with some groups sending as many as three people to evaluate the skills.
" There's a reason why this occurrence is a concern for us during the summertime", one NBA hunter told Yahoo Sports. " Dybantsa, Boozer and Stokes are projected major players in the respective review classes for a purpose and watching their growth at this stage and what their face is, is really interesting and has teams collecting review picks for their class".
With a 2024 NBA Draft group that was very underwhelming from a franchise-changing viewpoint, the last game at Peach Jam may include teams hopeful for what's hitting the NBA pretty quickly. Cameron Boozer, Dybantsa and Stokes have continued to add to their game and get better whether that's as Team USA colleagues or competitors during one of the greatest Peach Jam championships matches in subsequent memory.
