If there continues racist abuse in the nation, Vincius Jr. claims Spain may lose out on hosting the World Cup in 2030.

The Real Madrid forward has campaigned unwaveringly against shift throughout his La Liga job and has been the target of chants throughout. His team was defeated by Valencia 1-0 in May 2023, forcing play to be postponed because of comments made by followers against the Brazil worldwide.

La Liga officials have been questioned by the wider internet for their failure to act and push forward with trials, especially given the sheer amount of hate crime circumstances that have been reported compared to other European teams.

In a recent interview with CNN, Vinicius stated," I hope Spain may develop and comprehend the severity of demeaning someone because of their body color." " Because if things do n't evolve by 2030, I think ( the World Cup ) will have to change location, because if players do n't feel comfortable and confident playing in a country where they can suffer racism, it's very complicated.

Because the majority of Spaniards are not prejudiced, there is a small minority who ultimately has an impact on the image of a nation where people live quite well, I believe and I want to do everything to make things shift.

In response to situations in Valencia last year, Vinicius was present in court in October 2023 to testify about the racist accusations he endured.

After describing the incident in Valencia, he said," People said the best thing to do is to keep the pitch, but as you are defending a team, we know that not everyone in the stadium is racist and was just there watching the game."

Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay will compete against Spain, Portugal and Morocco's pay for the 2030 World Cup, with a jointly-hosted event set to be the programs made by FIFA director Gianni Infantino. A judgement on merely who will be allocated the opening right is set to be confirmed on December 11 2024.
