A former Spur star has lifted the lid on markets he and his team team-mates had thus on Three Tigers work
Danny Rose, a past Tottenham defender, has revealed that he and his team-mates from the Spurs were "rubbed at" over the low wages they were receiving.
Rose enjoyed a 13-year-old magic at Tottenham after joining as a 17-year-old from Leeds United in 2007, and would go to get 29 England cap during his day in north London and was part of the crew that went to the 2018 World Cup.
He would get the 2008 League Cup with the team on his way to making more than 200 appearances for the team, but has now admitted that he and his team-mates at the time, who constantly qualified for Western competition were not being adequately compensated by the regime led by Daniel Levy.
Speaking on the In The Zone radio, Rose said:" When we would move ahead with England, the boys would laugh at us at what we're being paid. Additionally, there is a companion I know from a different team.
" I can recall a West Brom team fighting fall in a time when some of their players were spending more than we were." That was n't right. You had to succeed with at least a couple of goals to receive a bonus from Heels and win prizes.
" I do n't regret saying anything because it was true when I first said it, but now I believe the boys are getting paid well."
Rose left Tottenham in 2021 at the end of his contract and do finish his job with a short stint at Watford.
